The Fifth Generation Mobile Communications Promotion Forum

The 5th Generation Mobile Communications Promotion Forum (5GMF) co-hosts the 9th Global 5G Event with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in Tokyo on 20-21 September 2022.
The Global 5G Event is based on a Multi-Lateral MoU signed by seven 5G promotion organizations from around the world to collaborate on consensus building for 5G as well as smooth development and deployment of 5G.

The Workshop of the 9th Global 5G Event will be held in Hotel New Otani Tokyo.
In parallel with the Workshop, the 5GMF is also planning the Exhibition efforts to promote 5G in Japan.

5G commercial service started in March 2020 in Japan. Commercialization of 5G is also progressing overseas, and activities for its popularization and deployment are being actively carried out throughout the world. In this workshop, we will discuss global and latest topics such as future prospects of 5G leading to Beyond 5G.
